Video presentation template designed for embedding videos. Source files include a finished example and placeholder .storytemplate. The placeholder is designed for six videos and fully editable.
Hi Dave,
I used your template to share some videos, loaded from the web. However, after I published for web viewing I can't seem to view it. The window opens, but no content is shared. Please help.
Thanks.
Hi Kim - Are you viewing the files locally (from desktop) in Chrome? If you are, then it's Chrome's security settings that are the issue. Try viewing in Firefox or IE and see if it works.
Chrome will display the content correctly from a web server, but from your local machine it blocks the embedded Flash movies. Yeah, it's annoying.
If the content doesn't play in your other browsers, let me know and we'll take a look to see what else is going on. I'm guessing it's a Chrome-only issue:-)
Hi Kim - Are you viewing your project from your desktop or from a web server? Do you have a link you can share to the files? You can also send them to me offline if you prefer.
Hi Lalima - you can learn more about inserting videos from this tutorial: community.articulate.com/.../adding-videos.aspx If you still have questions, let us know!
Thanks David. I'm to start on this next week and that's when ur probably gonna see a lot more questions from me :-P. Appreciate the help..Have a super day.
On this example did you embed your videos or did you link from a web source like screener or youtube?... I tested it and replace video 1 with one of my mp4s and video 2 with another one of my mp4s... after it was published I was looking at the folder structure of the published files and could not see any of your original videos in the published file structure... I did see however, a bunch of .swf files with a tiny file size. Are these your videos? I could not find your video 3, video 4, video 5, and video 6 in the published folder. Just trying to figure out the best method for an LMS to play my videos.
