Hi John, so glad you like it!
For the video backgrounds of both the stars and the sand, I used two stock videos (https://www.videoblocks.com/video/movement-shooting-stars/ and https://www.videoblocks.com/video/ripples-of-sand-flow-on-top-of-sand-dune/ , I have a subscription), but of course you could use free stock videos such as from these two sites:

Then, I created a master layout for each one, and inserted the video, making sure it covered the whole slide.
Finally, I looped the video so that it played continuously. Normally, you would just loop it around itself (so, play video stars when media video stars completes), but at the moment there is a small issue/bug with videos looping correctly this way, so I used the method descr... Expand

Hope this helps!
Hi Jane,
Good question. I didn't get copyright. The photos and videos are all mine, I just photographed and video-ed my kids' Star Wars figures, so the 'artwork' is mine. It probably is a fine line, but since this work is not being sold in any way, and no one is making a profit, I figure it's OK.
Hi,
Yes, copyright laws are very difficult. My company has strict rules about using anything that we did not create. We have to have evidence of permission granted by the owner. I was hoping you could shed some light on the subject.
By the way, I loved the personal touch with your kids. Great idea!
Hi John,
I sort of used a video for the scrolling text: I went to this website http://www.starwars.com/games-apps/star-wars-crawl-creator (which is totally awesome) and created my crawl. Then, I made a screen recording and inserted it as a video.
Hi Michael, sorry about that, I moved things around a while ago.
Here is the correct link: http://veronicab.com.au/wp/wp-content/uploads/articulate_uploads/StarWars/story.html
