The presentation played very well, Richard. Liked the timing and the motion that was provided. Did you start out with slides from Powerpoint slides and import those slides into Storyline? I have not downloaded this software application's free trial yet.

Sorry I didn't see your comment until today. The flyout animation when the slide moves is actually a fly out animation created on the next slide. Example: The items you see on one slide are the same ones you see at the very beginning seconds of the next slide. You copy the items from the first slide, paste into the next slide, remove the entry animation and replace it with a fly out animation and set it to show for just 1-2 seconds on the timeline before the flyout animation starts. Hope that makes sense. If not, I can try to post something on my site that explains it in more detail.
Thanks for asking..
Richard - am in the middle of creating a similar slider design where the lower panel will display text and an image. I noticed that one of your panels has an image asking the leaner to click on it to learn more. My panels are States. So "1" will equal the first panel, "2" will equal the next panel etc. My question to you is how did you set up the "click to learn more" --- I used a button but am not able to jump to a new slide. Thanks for your help. Terra
Terra,
Just saw your comment. Let me take a look and I'll get back to you. I built this several months ago so I'll have to open it up and take a look.
Richard
Terra,
Here is the design..
1. Slider timeline sits on the base layer.
2. The triggers on the base layer are set to "Show layer x" when the slider moves to a certain value on the timeline. The layers are designed to not cover the entire screen, leaving the slider timeline visible on every layer.
3. On the layer that appears, if there is an image that states, "click the image to learn more", I created a simple trigger for the image that states, Jump to URL/file: xxxxx. when the users clicks.
Hope that helps.
