This incredibly cool and fun adventure game is the perfect demo of the interactive goodness you can create with Storyline 2. You'll meet engaging characters, solve problems, and learn lots of useful tidbits about Storyline 2 along the way.
It's teaching us how to use and combine features of SL to create amazing effects that will enhance our training programs. The lesson isn't the girl's journey, it's the rapid thinking that was going on in my head as I was trying to work out how each thing was created, and then being validated or surprised every time I found an e-learning tidbit coin. I learned a lot!

Did you just hear the bang when my jaw dropped onto my desk? I'am simply amazed what you've been able to create with SL. Guess it'll be my life goal from now on, to be able to create something like this myself.
Fantastic use of Storyline. This is the type of project that demonstrates how one can bend, twist, program a simple development tool to create incredible interaction and gamification.
I love it! I'm confused on the ability to move through the landscape with "seamless" movement. Are those layers on a slide or are they a individual slides when clicking the directional arrow?
Richard, when designing this, did you storybook it and get the pages as you wanted and then do the triggers or did you build all as you went along? It's very intricate between movements and animations and such - just looking to see if there are design best practices I can glean.
First I did some character designs on paper, but the interactions were done on a stenographers pad. Anytime I had a neat idea that I thought was possible I just scribbled the concept art in and made notes of what triggers might be able to pull it off. I did not build about 30% out because they were too time consuming or complex , nor in the best interest of the story. Surprisingly, even though my sketches were rough, a lot of stuff came out spot on. I only noticed this months later when I ran across the old sketches.
This is brilliant!! Really really impressed! One day I'll have this level of skill. Made me really feel like I was playing an adventure game. Great tips on Storyline too.
