PLEASE? Let us have the code and download it.
I am very new to SL2 (in fact we are still evaluating it), this would be a HUGE step up in my learning curve...truly this is masterful work.
I love this, but I can't figure out how to do the slider "Why Wellness Matters" slide. I tried motion paths as in the example, & also changing the states, but I'm clearly doing something wrong. Would someone write down the SPECIFIC steps to make this slider example work so that the rectangles change simultaneously, moving either up or down, depending on where the slider is sitting? I need to use something like this for a project I'm working on!
Thanks!
Karen
can anyone send or explain or provide the an example like the why wellness matters slider example. I am wanting to create a motion path slider bar graphic but am not sure how to do it.
I figured out how to do this.
1. Insert a slider on the base layer ALONE (leave the design for later)
2. Set the slider to these settings. Start:0, End:30, Inital:0, Step:1
3. Add a layer and label it as (Layer 1). On Layer 1 add a rectangle shape that is 300 in height. Once you have your desired width, copy that rectangle next to it but make the height 10.
4. DUPLICATE Layer 1 and rename it Layer 2. On Layer 2, decrease the height for rectangle 1 by 10 and increase the height for rectangle 2 by 10.
5. DUPLICATE Layer 2 and rename it to Layer 3. Then repeat the process until you reach Layer 30.
***For each layer decrease the height of rectangle 1 by 10 and increase the height of rectangle 2 by 10.
6. When you reach Layer 30, rectangle 1 should have a height of 10, and rectan... Expand

6. When you reach Layer 30, rectangle 1 should have a height of 10, and rectangle 2 should have a height of 300. (opposite or Layer 1)
7. Go to the base layer with the slider and do this trigger.
Show layer1
When slider 1 moves
if its value=value 1
^^ You need to make 30 triggers with the corresponding numbers
ex:
Show layer1
When slider 1 moves
if its value=value 1
then
Show layer2
When slider 1 moves
if its value=value 2
then
Show layer3
When slider 1 moves
if its value=value 3
**slider 1 does not change, only the layers and the values change.
All the way until you reach 30 triggers. Copy and paste the triggers will make it easier.
8. Design your interaction and preview :)
