This Storyline 360 course will teach you all about Instructional Design. The total seat time for this course is approx. 1 hour. This course covers the following topics:
Hello,
This course is awesome, do you perhaps have a template version of the slides for us. I am busy with a course which i would like to use a few of the slide options, i have attempted to duplicate some of the slides which i have managed to do. But i am battling with getting a few to work the way it works on yours. It would help me if i can see the timing and triggers in the file to help me getting the template to work the same way.
Thank you
Lesli-Ann
Hi Lesli-Ann! Thanks for the comment and so glad you're enjoying this example. I am planning on sharing this as several Downloads, I will chunk it into smaller pieces since the entire course itself is pretty big! I'd love to know which slides or interactions in particular you'd like to see available for download first. Please let me know!
I agree with Lesli-Ann - would we be able to see under the "hood"? Like Lesli-Ann, I need to see how you've built a few of the slides.
Great course by the way!
Hi Debra! Thanks for the comment, so glad you're enjoying this example! I am planning on chunking some of this content and preparing it for Downloads. I'd love to know which interactivity in particular you're interested in having available for download first! Let me know! :)
Hi Nicole,
That is fantastic news, thank you for being so kind in sharing. If i screen grabs of the screens i am battling with and pop them onto PowerPoint for you, how would i get them to you.
We have had Storyline for sometime but we are still learning how to use it to the fullest. My biggest problem is recreating some of the slides is the timing. So if i can see the how the timing works in the back-end that would really speed up my development and self training.
Hi Lesli-Ann,
You are welcome to share your .story file if you'd like us to take a look. You can share in our Storyline Product Forums:

If you need to share it with one of support engineers privately, you can do so here:

I love this! It is clean, professional, interactive and interesting. I too would love a "peek under the hood". I'm just getting into branching so sharing the 2 question branching slides with the triggers would be very helpful. Other slides that would help: The steps of the training need analysis; Shelia interviews her coworkers; What to include in a Storyboard, Video; Feedback from SME.
Thanks!
Hi Kim! I shared the download for "Sheila interviews her coworkers". You can grab the free template here: https://community.articulate.com/download/storyline-360-interview-template
More to come soon!
Hi Roger! This would be quite massive to share as one big download, but I am chunking it into smaller pieces that I'm sharing in the Downloads section. Here's the latest: https://community.articulate.com/download/storyline-360-interview-template
Thanks for this awesome presentation, Nicole! I really enjoyed it. I was wondering how you created the specific interaction on the third slide where you click the "next" button and more text is added on the same slide and Sheila's pose changes. Essentially, I would be great to know how to use the next button for layers on the same slide instead of the "next" button going on to the following slide. Thank you!
Hi Diandra!
I did that by duplicating a slide, not always ideal because if i have to make updates to the slide i have to make them in 2 places, but I do use this trick from time to time.
Hi Nicole,
Where do I find the link to the Storyline 360 course for Instructional Design? It says the total seat time for this course is approx. 1 hour.
Thank you,
Nancy
As this is one of my greatest strengths as a designer, anything with this sort of a headline catches my eye!
We are still over here on the sidelines using SL2 but I think SL360 is going to happen this year.
I haven’t gotten to see your overview, but hoping developing (learning, better yet, performance) objectives is among the topics. I still see courses or designers who have none, don’t know why they’re necessary or how to leverage them. Yikes! They’re your essential roadmap.
Hi Nicole,
Create course! I'm interested to know about the size settings. what is the size of the content and how did you manage to have the player so close to the content?
Thanks,
Talvi
