With the new slide numbers feature in Storyline 360, you can insert slide numbers onto your slides automatically, whether your course is linear or not. See for yourself in this example.

Slide numbering in Storyline 360 looks to me to be a very useful feature. Is it possible to setup scene-based numbering? I would like to set up separate numbering for each tutorial, which may be a single scene or sometimes two or more scenes.
Thanks in advance.
Hi Doug,
If I'm understanding correctly, you'd like to be able to the slide number out of the total number of slides in the scene. If so, then yes - that's now possible. You'll see that option in this dropdown: http://share.articulate.team/2b1a0ba91151

I have a strange thing happening. I set my page #ing on the master slide that shows x of xx (xx%) which is page of pages (percent complete). On some pages I see ! of xx (0#) - and on preview of some of my pages, a ! displays a blank instead of the page number. I'm stumped - any thoughts?
I figured it out; somehow, the pages in question were not on the menu - I'm so glad that your feature pages are so well developed! I should have read it before I posted :)
