Hey Charlotte, thanks for the feedback.
You make a good point. This game is meant to be exploratory and replayable. The original game from which I got the idea didn't actually give any instructions, players just 'went places' (kitchen, shop) and figured out what to do... I added instructions in this one, and from memory they say 'first go shopping, then pick a recipe' or something like that... anyway, I guess my idea was that you'd go shopping and get some supplies, then check the recipes and see if you could make something, and if not you'd get more money and go back shopping.... and that way it becomes replayable and not so predictable. I can totally see if this was a strict elearning piece you wouldn't want to 'waste' people's time like that for sure though.

This is very cool. This type of activity would be good as a memory exercise, with a few tweaks. Maybe when you go to make the recipe but don't have all the items, you lose everything and have to start again.
Thanks for the feedback everyone!
Sorry Tejas, I can't share this file as it contains licenced graphics (which I am not allowed to share).
I am making a video tutorial series on how I made this, so I'll come back and share here once it's up and ready.
