Hi Cheri and Jacqueline!
I hope James won’t mind that I’m sharing the solution to his gorgeous game here but, like you, I couldn’t figure it out when I first tried it and and he was kind enough to share the solution in the challenge thread.

2) Then slide the torch (slider) down a little more than halfway until the rock wheel has a glyph aligned in the same direction as the carving in the rock that appeared when the dagger pierced the bags of sand.
3) Click on the carving on the rock in the foreground.
Jedd, thanks for letting me know. Just this week I was having an issue with a slider in an older course I published in an older version of SL. I wonder if there is some issue with the older courses and newer browser requirements. I'll pull the file into 360, republish and see if it works. Thanks again!
Looks beautiful! I've played quite a few of these games online. Compared to the interface on those, this one was not very clear what order you needed to click on things to make them work. But my gosh - so gorgeous!
It's really pretty neat, just gotta use your noggin.
If it explained everything for you beforehand then there's no challenge.
Just play around and figure it; it's a great setup, you're quite creative James!
Clearly I haven't played enough video games. However it was clear there was lots of interaction and opportunities for trial and error. I eventually got frustrated and followed the directions Jackie Van Nice shared. Thanks for your hard work.
I got stuck, too, and had to use Jackie's instruction about sliding the torch. I got all of the other things, but didn't realise the torch could slide.
This was fantastic! I did figure it out, (you have to pay attention to everything), much like visiting an escape room. When you visit you have no instructions and can only use your mind! Blown away!! So many great ideas for educating rather than pushing down more information!
Pretty cool! What I like best about this is it is a game of discovery...with minimal directions, it encourages the user to explore and try different things. I solved it in about 10-15 mins.
