I think this looks really good but I wonder how this is any better than doing a screen recording? Especially since the mouse moves and it looks like a screen recording anyway.
I've been thinking about the mouse over. I think that he adds them manually (with the response, you only need 1 response text), combine them to a group and copy paste them to the next slides.
Am I correct, Charles?
What a neat work!
You seem to have created a tab on upper right corner called “Reset to Start” by resorting to Player menu. True?
It is going to the beginning of the presentation. How did you get it done?
Thanks everybody! Sorry for such a late response, but just seeing these comments now!
The non interactive part of this (the beginning) IS a screen capture! I added some text and direction over the video capture in Storyline, and matched to an image for the interactive part. The drop down menu and mouse over effects are all handled with layers and the Hover states. No magical programming or variables (I'm lousy at that) just Storyline triggers and timeline stuff.
The "Return to Start" is in the player properties - player tabs - make a new trigger to return to the first slide. Got that idea from a community member on these forums, and love it.
Here is a link to the .story file-

Thanks!

I had the same problem until Charles suggested I try a different browser (I was trying to open with Internet Explorer). I opened it with Chrome and the .story file downloaded correctly. You may want to try a different browser if you are using IE.
