The labeled graphic interaction in this example gives learners an opportunity to test themselves before revealing important information. The labels are easy to click on and the slide design stays nice and tidy—which is great for smaller device sizes.
Hey Sandy,
totally loved the nice lables transition, and joining the question above: I did not find a way in a Storyline to customize the shape of the hover-lable, appearing after you click the marker.. Could you please share? :) Thanks a lot!
This is great. I loved the label transition as well. I am a online nursing instructor and I would like to start making things like this for my courses.
I would like to know if there is a course or seminar I can take or got that will teach me? I have made somethings and am learning a lot from this website. I would also like somewhere to go that will teach me the ins and outs.
Hi Shanda, we have some eLearning/Storyline tips and tricks on our blog (https://www.brightcarbon.com/blog/). I also know that Lynda.com do a Storyline course, which seems to be popular but is aimed at complete novices.
I've found that I've learned almost everything I know about Storyline on the job, with help from the community forum and google to answer any questions I have.
Hi Shanda,
I represent Yukon Learning, Articulate's certified training partner. We conduct open enrollment Articulate 360 training courses throughout the US and Canada. There are also a number of other options for accessing the training, including virtual open enrollment. You can find more information here:

The effect Sandy created (the name of the item slides out when you hover over the question mark) is really nice. I did a version by creating the square with the question mark and then adding a Hover state to the square. On the hover state I repeated the square with the question mark, then added a rectangle containing the word to the right of the square. I animated this rectangle with a "Wipe to the right" entrance animation. When you hover over the question mark the hover state kicks in and the word slides out to the right. If you also include an exit animation (Wipe from Right), the word slides back when the cursor is no longer over the question mark.
Hi Lacy - apologies for the very delayed reply! You can adjust the browser display settings in the player settings. You go to Player Properties > Other > Player Size > Scale player to fill browser window.
Just make sure your slide size in Storyline is big enough that there won't be a degredation in quality.
There's an article here which explains the other options for player sizing and browser sizing: https://community.articulate.com/series/4/articles/changing-the-browser-settings-and-player-size-in-articulate-storyline-2
