AI Assistant in Storyline 360: AI-Generated Built-in Animations

Using animations to boost visual engagement in your projects has never been easier. Simply chat with AI Assistant in Storyline 360 to describe the built-in entrance, emphasis, and exit animations you want. You can preview the results instantly and refine your animations through a simple, conversational workflow.

To get started, open the AI Assistant tab on the right side of the screen and use the chat box at the bottom to enter your prompts. You can even animate multiple objects at once on the same slide. Need inspiration? Ask AI Assistant for ideas.

Request Built-In Animations

AI Assistant uses JavaScript animations by default. To use built-in Storyline animations instead, include keywords such as “built-in animations,” “native animations,” “Storyline animations,” or “SL animations” in your prompt.

To switch back to JavaScript animations, include “JavaScript animations” or “JS animations” in your next prompt.

For emphasis animations, AI Assistant automatically generates the required triggers.

Refine and Preview Animations

Keep iterating by asking AI Assistant to adjust timing, change durations, or remove animations as needed.

When you’re ready to see the results, click Play in the AI Assistant response to preview the animation on the timeline.
