Text boxes can be added to any slide, including slide masters and feedback masters. Here's how:
- In Slide View, go to the Insert tab and click Text Box.
- Click and drag on your slide canvas to draw a text box.
- Type your text in the text box. Or, if you've previously copied some text to your clipboard, press Ctrl+V to paste it into the text box.
Tip: A super-fast way to create a text box is to use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl+T. For more keyboard shortcuts, click here.
To make your text box look the way you want, do any of the following:
- Resize a text box by dragging any of the sizing handles on its perimeter.
- Rotate a text box by dragging the green rotation handle at the top of the box.
- Move a text box simply by dragging it to a new location on the slide.
- Change the font and paragraph attributes.
- Change the fill color, line color, effects, and other properties. Use the Format tab, or right-click the text box and choose Format Shape or Size and Position.
