Storyline 2: Editing Questions in Form View
Form View is the starting point for most question slides you create in Articulate Storyline, whether they're form-based or freeform. (Non-question slides don't have a Form View.) Use Form View to enter question text and answer choices, then edit the following properties:
- Answer shuffling
- Feedback and branching
- Scoring
- Number of attempts
- Required or optional
- Result slide
For most question types, you can also insert one image/video and one audio clip in Form View (though you can add more in Slide View). Just click Media or Audio on the ribbon.
And for some question types, you can delete, anchor, and rearrange answer choices just by right-clicking them. (See this tutorial to learn more about anchoring answers.)
Switching to Form View
To switch to Form View, do any of the following, depending on your current view.
- Create a new form-based question.
- Double-click an existing question slide to open it in Slide View, then click the Form View button in the upper right corner of the workspace.
- Create a new form-based question.
- Click the Form View button in the upper right corner of the workspace.
