E-Learning Röck Band Challenge

E-Learning Röck Band #143: Challenge | Recap

“Hello E-Learning Heroes!”

This week’s e-learning challenge kicks off our fourth year of touring! As of today, we’ve played over 140 shows (challenges) and recorded more than 4,000 e-learning demos. Pretty wicked, right?

Unlike real rock band tours, the challenges are only a venue for artists. The real rockstars are all of you who take the stage, share your work, and help the rest of us kick our e-learning up to eleven!

If you’re looking to amp your e-learning skills from opening act to main event, then you need to stop noodling and start shredding. And that’s what this week’s rock band challenge is all about!

Challenge of the Week

This week your challenge is to design an interactive graphic or micro site for your (fictitious) e-learning rock band! Include basic elements and topics such as:

  • Band logo and bio
  • Band members
  • Latest news
  • Upcoming shows and events
  • Discography
  • Photo and video galleries
  • Cover art

Hi Jaipreet - I received 4 of your files for challenges: #143, #142, #118, and #81. I'll email you when the links are updated. Yes, you're welcome to use our Dropbox share to send your weekly files. Ideally, you should look at moving your courses to your own blog or domain so that your body of work is connected to your brand. But I don't mind hosing your files on our S3 account. What you could do going forward is this: 1) upload your challenge to http://tempshare.articulate.com so you get an immediate link to your published file that you can share in the challenges. Tempshare links are good for 10 days so the current challenge participants will be able to view and comment on your work. 2) upload your published files to Dropbox and I'll use those for the recap the following week....
