Storyline: Easy Spinning Wheel Activity
Do you have content your learners can view in any order? Or perhaps you want them to draw one random slide from a number of different options? A spinning wheel interaction can be a great fit for these situations and add light gamification to your course. Many designers use triggers and variables in Storyline 360 to randomize the content they serve up, but did you know you can also do this with question banks? That’s something great about Storyline 360: there’s often more than one way to solve a development challenge. This example shares a simple four-step process you can follow to make a spinning wheel interaction in just a few minutes. Here’s what that looks like: Create a new question bank. Add a slide for each screen of content you want to have in the mix. Customize each slide with your content and a simple animation showing how the wheel spin turns out.
