Hi Articulate team, Below is my idea: An AI feature that reviews a completed course according to best practice (overall) instructional design. The feature that could also allow the user to choose a specific instructional design framework/methodology/model/etc. to assess/review the course. Also, a designer could upload an existing review checklist for AI assistant to use to review the course. This would be for both Storyline and Rise. Hi team, Really like the new update for generated text to speech AI Assistant in Rise 360: AI-Generated Text-to-Speech | Articulate - Community. Couple of suggestions that I hope will be considered for next update to this feature: 1 - Include a toggle on/off setting for the generated audio to automatically play once the block is reached or the interaction is engaged with (for e.g. turning the flashcard triggers the audio for 'back of card' to play - rather than having to press the 'play' button). 2 - Would love a a couple of Australian voices in the suite - failing that, a couple of 'neutral' accents would be great. Cheers and thanks - keep up the great work!9Views1like1CommentCursor jumps to end of text line after 1 letter.
When creating a lesson or section in Rise, if you want to make a change in any text (spelling, word choice, etc.) the cursor jumps to the end of the line after typing one letter. This is only on the page where you add a new lesson or section. Just create a title for a lesson and then try to change a word in the middle. Really frustrating and time consuming. There was a Rise product update announcement on March 26, 2025, that is like what I'm describing but not quite. "Fixed: The cursor would unexpectedly jump to the beginning of the text entry window when entering code or a URL." Also, this is almost identical to a post about 3 years ago, but I don't know where they were having the problem. There was no solution listed. Here's the link Cursor randomly jumping back while typing | Articulate - Community Example video attached. Thanks, Jon45Views0likes4CommentsRise Course Template - GDPR
We are a large UK organisation that has found the Rise Course Templates an excellent feature for creating bespoke eLearning. I cannot see anything that could support us with training around General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Data Protection. Probably because this does not apply to the US and is only relevant to EU organisations. Could a template be developed for this subject? I think the Flashcard Grid block would be more useful if we had the option to require the user to flip some (but not all) of the cards. Why? Well, suppose the cards are set up as the potential responses to a question. Currently, we either have to require the user to click all of the cards before they can continue, or they don't have to click any of the cards and could skip the interaction. I'd like the option to require users to only click the designated card(s) to complete the interaction. Below is a mockup for how this could be set up in the Content window for the Flashcard Grid. At the top, have a dropdown for selecting "All" or "Any." Add a checkbox for each card that indicates whether the associated card is included in the set for which all or any of the cards must be clicked to complete the interaction. The default setting could be "All" in the dropdown, with the checkbox for each card selected. When a new card is added, its checkbox should be selected by default. To actually require clicking, there would still need to be a "Continue" divider after the Flashcard grid that requires the user to complete the content above. The additional settings simply control how much clicking is required. I also think it'd be helpful to have this feature for the Labelled Graphic block. Provide the option to require the user to click some (but not all) of the markers.6Views0likes0CommentsHidden Rise block for internal documentation
Hello! Today I wish I had a way to include a hidden version history in my Rise courses like I do for Storyline courses. Version history helps us identify the dates that key content changes happened in case of audit. Another use for such a block would be to indicate where source files (graphics, audio, video, Storyline blocks) can be located for maintenance or to identify who approved content along with the date.96Views10likes5CommentsEnable Themes to save all customizable options.
Hello Team, it would be fantastic to use the Theme option to change certain parameters of a course globally and should include much more than currently offered. Listed are some suggested "options" to add that would eliminate frustration and save developers time when creating courses. These should all be saved at the Theme level as default/universal, so when adding to a course they are ready to go. Text block: Save default settings for width, padding, font size, font line height, and font letter spacing. Helpful for common text heavy courses. Width - Why is 3-column width wider than wide in a regular text block? Please consider providing another wider option. Table: Like the text block - save default settings for width, padding, font size, font line height, and font letter spacing. Also, allow for wider width like the 3-column text block. Copy formatting when adding rows/columns to a table already formatted. This is a headache when adding a row to the bottom because the new row is not formatted like the row above/below it, causing multiple edits to apply the same look. Tabs: Both tabs and accordion need the width option enabled and added as a theme default, along with font options. Brand Colors: Ability to upload or add a specific brand color palette and have them appear anywhere an option to change a color appears. For instance, changing a background color in text, a text block, or background. This can be done by selecting custom and inputting the hex value, but it would be much easier to just hit one button of your color choice from the color block that appears. Just some ideas to make our work better and faster. Thanks for all you do.4Views0likes0CommentsAutomatically Update Formatting Styles
One of my biggest frustrations with Rise is that when I change something with the style in one block (size, formatting, etc.), I have to change it manually on EVERY SINGLE BLOCK in EVERY SINGLE LESSON. If you miss one block or one paragraph, it is noticeable. Having styles that automatically update all related items would save a ton of time.52Views7likes3Comments
