Hi everyone, I was sad to see the Job Postings page disappear from the site. I am an eLearning Designer/Developer who has been working with Articulate 360 since 2010. I work remotely and have found the Job Postings page to be an excellent resource for finding new clients and projects, because the companies which posted there were already interested in people who used Articulate Storyline, Rise, etc Please bring it back. If you're a developer like me, you know how valuable that page is. Dan S.575Views23likes6CommentsAllow publishing access for more than one owner
My team works in a very collaborative environment and the "owner" of the course in Rise360 may not be the only owner or the only person that needs access to publish the course to our LMS. We previously all had access to publish the course as long as we were listed as collaborators (manager or editor). As of today, this access is gone and only the owner has the option to publish the course. I saw in Articulate Community that this question has been asked previously in the context of an employee leaving the organization and it was recommended to just share the link. This does not allow us to publish the course in our LMS to track completion for compliance. I'm not sure what changed for us to previously have access to the publish feature regardless of ownership or why we no longer have the access to do so, but there should at the very least be an option to assign collaborators as "co-owners" so we can have equal publishing/modification rights on team projects. Thank you!140Views14likes1CommentPDF Reader or View PDF via Scrolling Panel
The ask: Could a PDF reader or an addition to the scrolling panel allowing PDFs be added to Storyline's functionality? Our team is required to present manual pages in our lessons, necessitating the use of a scrolling panels. To display manuals or textbook pages that are saved as PDFs in Storyline, you must process the conversion of the PDF in a third-party program. After the conversion, you must import the images and align each page individually in the scrolling panel. The pages must be grouped in a certain way for the scrolling panel to populate correctly. I’ve included a Review 360 link with an example of what the end results looks like: Review 360: PDF Scrolling Panel Example If a PDF reader was included in Storylines toolset, it would make life for designers much easier. Our team is looking for the following features: Allowing PDFs to be imported into Storyline without the need for conversion to JPEG or PNG Automated scrolling for multiple pages. Say the PDF has multiple pages, the user can either flip through the pages or scroll through them. How would it function?: Additional functionality to scrolling panels OR including a built in PDF reader to Storyline's toolset Additional Functionality: Zoom functions Enable PDF bookmarks We appreciate any updates or notice on building this functionality, if possible.38Views6likes5CommentsStoryline - Toggle background music to play/pause when the player play/pause button clicked
In Storyline I need a trigger, or JavaScript, that monitors when the player's play/pause button is clicked, aka timeline paused by the end user. If the timeline is paused, I would want the background music to pause. Then, when play is clicked, the timeline and background audio would resume.118Views5likes1CommentIdeas Portal
The community has suggested a huge amount of ideas over the years. Can we have a searchable portal so we can see them all in one place: ID/Category/Post Date/Review Date/Description/Comments/Votes/Related Ideas Status Reviewed Under Consideration Low Probability of Delivery Fair Probability of Delivery In-Progress Currently Available41Views4likes0CommentsEnhancing Review 360 Feedback Management with Categorization Tags
Currently, in Review 360, feedback and comments provided during reviews are captured in a generic format without any structured categorization. This often leads to ambiguity when interpreting feedback, as reviewers and developers must manually infer whether a comment refers to an error, an enhancement suggestion, or a query. The lack of classification makes prioritization and resolution time-consuming, especially when handling large volumes of feedback across multiple stakeholders. Post-implementation of the proposed feature—a dropdown selection allowing users to tag feedback as Error, Enhancement, Query or Not applicable—the process becomes significantly more streamlined. Categorization at the point of entry ensures clarity, enabling teams to filter and sort feedback based on type, prioritize critical issues, and allocate resources effectively. This structured approach not only improves communication between reviewers and developers but also accelerates decision-making and enhances overall productivity by reducing misinterpretation and manual effort. This categorization should also be reflected in the generated reports.53Views2likes3CommentsAuto Play Audio
It has been mentioned a few times but I think this is a bigger issue than the developers realize. I am the lead on a major project and we are converting all of our safety training videos and on the job training courses through Rise 360. We have over 300 employees in our facility and well over 50% are English as a second language team members. Having an auto play feature in rise 360 is crucial for our success. It ensures that every employee—regardless of reading level or language proficiency—receives the full content of each lesson without missing critical information. Instead of relying on individuals to manually activate audio or navigate complex menus, the Auto Play function would deliver a consistent and accessible learning experience for everyone. This not only improves comprehension for our ESL team members but also reduces confusion, minimizes repeated training sessions, and ensures that all safety messages are communicated clearly and effectively. I really hope the developers come up with something soon, as I see this has been the concern of many since the start.38Views2likes1CommentBring back the standard (non-AI) "Insert" options to the Home tab in Storyline 360.
Howdy, I recently noticed that the standard "Insert" options have been REMOVED entirely from the Home tab of Storyline. I genuinely do not know why this change would be made since it now requires me to move over to the "Insert" tab any time I want to add anything to a slide. I would find this particularly frustrating if this change happened in isolation because I could understand the desire to reorganize the tool options. HOWEVER, it makes even less sense when the "AI Assistant" insert options still exist on both screens (despite the fact that I don't have access to those features). If it was so important to remove the standard insert tools from the Home tab, then why didn't the AI insert tools also get removed? My "Suggest Idea" contribution in this case is consistency. If Articulate is going to insist on forcing the main toolbar sections to contain tools for AI Insert features that I am not going to use and I don't have access to, they can at least not remove tools that I do use and have access to from the Home tab. In other words, as the title says, with peace and love, bring back the standard (non-AI) "Insert" options to the Home tab in Storyline 360. Cheers!38Views2likes0CommentsOption to remove hand cursor on hover for buttons
Much like you implemented the option to show or not show the hand cursor on hover for hotspots, it would be great to have this option for buttons that have triggers associated with them. It's a bit of a giveaway to learners when one of the buttons has a hand cursor, and the others don't. I realize I can make triggers for all of the others as well, but I would prefer to keep the regular cursor. This will also help with the simulations that we make so that we can accurately mimic what a learner will see in their work environment. Most of the objects our learners choose in the platforms we simulate do not have a cursor that changes to a hand cursor. Thank you!53Views2likes1Comment
