For this year's Pantone COTY E-Learning Heroes Challenge, I wanted to explore how motion and perceived depth could be pushed further within Articulate Storyline 360 with the help of the GSAP animation framework! This demo creates the illusion of a living, breathing scene that subtly responds to the user's mouse or finger movement across the screen. Combining parallax and masking techniques together with GSAP scripting, the result is an interaction where each illustrated element appears to rotate and drift in three-dimensional space, even though everything is built using flat 2D shapes. Hello, everyone! 👋 This is my very first e-learning challenge submission! I began taking Instructional Design courses this academic year, and I just completed an Instructional Systems Design course earlier this month. Though I've only been using Articulate Storyline for a few weeks, I can say that it as been a wonderful and creative challenge. Professionally, I am a Career Coach, so I thought it would be fun to start off with a topic that I am comfortable with. Skill Focus: I explored using markers in this quick interactive slide, which focuses on the essential elements for an effective & professional coffee chat. The Cloud Dancer color is utilized as the background color and text color within the title & marker numbers. Hello everyone, For challenge #535, I’ve been experimenting with colour combinations while staying true to the lesson’s theme. I focused on various text features, keeping things simple and easy on the eyes. To create a pleasant visual palette, I chose soft shades with Cloud Dancer as the foundational colour. I’m excited about the possibility of further developing this course and making it more engaging with fun activities. I would really appreciate any feedback on my initial work! Beyond its calm and serene energy lies great opportunity. I leveraged the color of Cloud Dancer to "check in" and gain access to fresh perspectives and opportunities that are embedded in the year ahead. I really enjoyed putting this together, and it was nice to learn and quickly apply a few new basic skills along the way. We created an interactive course sample using Articulate Storyline 360, inspired by Pantone’s 2026 Color of the Year – GLAMOUR & GLEAM. The focus was on balancing visual elegance with meaningful learning interactions to enhance the overall learner experience. 🎉 Happy New Year to all! Wishing everyone a creative, inspiring and impactful year ahead. Hi everyone! I enjoy Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in my spare time, so when I first saw the challenge, my immediate thought was the belt colors associated with the martial art. This quick experience puts you in a BJJ sparring match where the path to victory lies in identifying the correct color palette! Learners try to match the correct color to the associated Cloud Dancer Pantone Palette; as they progress, they earn a higher belt rank. Providing a quick, correct answer awards extra hints that you can use to make your journey easier. This was vibe coded in Lovable (I've been wanting to mess around with that tool for a while) and pointed as a web object in SL. Enjoy! ✌️ https://360.articulate.com/review/content/7eb4ef31-a027-42e6-97d4-b7d6dd9848f1/reviewMr Plow Saves Christmas
It's that time of the year again, folks! I was a little underwhelmed when Pantone announced Cloud Dancer as their next Color of the Year, but I had a lot of fun making this snow-themed interactive quiz. It's a surprisingly versatile base color. For almost as long as I have been building MCQs in Storyline, I've enjoyed showing immediate and visible 'consequences' for right or wrong answers. In this demo, a correct answer will clear the road and allow the delivery van through. But an incorrect answer will cause a blizzard, and a naughty dog will change the color of the snow in subsequent questions. Get the final question wrong, and you'll set off the car alarm, too. These little details are designed to make it more appealing to try again if you fail. So you not only improve your knowledge, but also improve the on-screen outcomes. Anything less than 100% isn't good enough. Watch out for yellow snow! The 'Mr Plow' character was made with Powtoon. Isometric assets from Freepik. Cloud Dancer: ATMOSPHERIC
I used the Cloud Dancer Atmospheric Palette for a leadership moment course on accountability. Honestly, I'm not sure that it really works... It's definitely not on brand for the client, so I'll change the colors before I send it to them. https://360.articulate.com/review/content/dec739f0-df7a-4d42-bbd3-d33b71b4aaa8/review It was fun trying a very different color scheme from my daily work.Rise Template Using Tropic Tonalities
This is my very first ELH Challenge, and wow, did I pick a doozy! I decided to make a Rise template course focusing on four colors from Pantone's suggested palette, Tropic Tonalities. Cloud Dancer served as the foundation (of course) with Kiwi Colada as anchor, and Capri and Bright Marigold as accent colors. I used playful and modern Rise fonts—Maven Pro for headers and Poppins for paragraph text—to reflect the nature of the color palette and inspirational photo. One thing that is both a blessing and a curse when using Rise is the limitations in customization (although Articulate has made great strides in improving that!). As such, I created my own previous and next buttons just so I could use the green anchor color while retaining the Cloud Dancer theme color. The other thing I discovered was that when using a color background for the tabbed interactive, the font color didn't change for better contrast (e.g., active tabs show white text on light green background, yuck). So I had to save a low-opacity kiwi rectangle as an image, upload that as a background with no overlay, and that seemed to do the trick 🥵 If I were to do it over again, I would probably make the kiwi green the theme color, and then upload Cloud Dancer as an image background over and over again, just so I could easily have functional navigation buttons in my anchor color. All in all, this was a fun experiment on seeing how I could make Rise bend more to my will, but I'd probably go with Ye Olde Storyline for better customization ☺️ Cloudy With a Chance of Dancing Rise Template
