19 TopicsIntroducing Myself: My Instructional Design Journey
Hello everyone, My name is Shruti, and I’m from India. I’m very happy and excited to be a part of this e-learning community! I see this community as a hundred helping hands supporting us on our e-learning journey. I’ve always believed in the power of teamwork, and I’m excited to now be a part of such an excellent community. I started my Instructional Design journey in 2022 and have worked on several academic projects. However, I honestly feel that I still have a lot to learn, especially when it comes to storyboarding and corporate learning modules. I look forward to getting answers to my questions and learning from all of you here. At the same time, I’m happy to share whatever I’ve learned and experienced so far. Looking forward to connecting and learning with everyone! 😊36Views1like2CommentsAspiring E-Learning Designer
Hello community, my name is Reggie and I’m based in London, UK. I come from a teaching background and over the last few years I’ve developed a strong interest in e-learning and instructional design. I’m still learning and currently building my portfolio through voluntary work and personal projects using Articulate Storyline and other tools. My teaching experience helps me understand learners and how to make learning clear and engaging. I joined the E-Learning Heroes community mainly to learn from others, improve my e-learning design and Storyline skills, get new ideas and continue building a strong portfolio as I work towards moving into e-learning and instructional design.30Views1like1CommentGreetings from Montreal
Hello everyone. My name is Maribel, I'm Colombian, living in Montreal. I'm new to instructional design; I literally discovered this path a month ago after being lost for almost 2 years (career-wise). I recently moved to this country, and being an immigrant is like pressing a reboot button because you have to reinvent yourself completely; at least that was my case because I'm not a conventional worker. I have worn multiple hats since I left high school, and finally I found a place where I fit with all my knowledge and passion; that place is instructional design and learning experience design. I'm super excited to navigate this path and learn from you all. Thank you.61Views0likes1CommentLeave 2025 where it belongs.
Beyond its calm and serene energy lies great opportunity. I leveraged the color of Cloud Dancer to "check in" and gain access to fresh perspectives and opportunities that are embedded in the year ahead. I really enjoyed putting this together, and it was nice to learn and quickly apply a few new basic skills along the way. Hi everyone! I hope you’re all doing well in your instructional design careers. I’m new here and excited to be part of this warm and welcoming community. You can call me Harry. I started my journey with Storyline three months ago. Before that, I was mainly a Graphic Designer/Motion Designer. I joined the E-Learning Heroes community because I love sharing JavaScript tips and learning from others. I also have a few feature requests that I’d like to get support for from the Articulate staff. That’s all. Love you guys!253Views2likes1CommentNew to ID!
Hi there! I'm Nat, I'm currently attending University of San Diego pursuing a Masters in Instructional Design and Technology. I discovered ID just this year even though I have had so much previous experience in the subject. Discovering ID was such a pivotal moment for me, I instantly realized that this is exactly where my passions and skills lie. I'm super excited and driven to become an Instructional Designer and learn all there is about the field!286Views3likes1Comment
