My true loves, other than family, are instructional design and organizational development. I've been an instructional designer since 1978! I became an OD consultant in 1985 and worked with a wide variety of clients across the country and abroad.I started my own OD and Training company in 1989. I specialized in designing training programs that truly improved performance and changed organizations. That was possible because the up front needs assessments I did were a combination of OD assessments and Training needs analyses.Strong front end analyses allowed me to create meaningful KPIs, detailed implementation plans, and that led to determining Level 4 and even Level 5 results. Success allowed me to work closely with executive management making training an important strategic partner.I'm back to consulting now, but this time I'm focusing on training, more specifically instructional design for eLearning/mLearning, ILT. and experiential learning.I've always loved training technology and that led to Articulate and Storyline. I've known Dave Anderson for years and got to know Tom Khulmann this past year. I've been using a variety of authoring tools since 2003. I'm excited to learn from all of you and offer whatever help I can.
