About
Dustin Sponsler
Dustin Ray Sponsler was born in the small town of Ashland, Ohio on June 16,1972. He was a rather hyperactive, yet creative child who always loved to invent things. At Ashland High School he was able to do something new...use technology to innovatively design a printed publication (yearbook staff) and has never looked back. Later Dustin attended Ashland University and earned both his B.S. and M.Ed. degrees in Education in 1995 and 1999 respectively. Dustin went back to school and earned a degree in eLearning Design at Rio Salado College in 2012, and is currently working as the eLearning Design & Support Specialist at Miami University of Ohio. Interesting enough, Dustin's grandmother, Anabel McKinley was a distant cousin to President William McKinley, who used to visit her great-grandparents' farm during the hot summers in Hayesville, Ohio as a boy. He has three beautiful children Samantha (25), Noah (12), and Anabel (10). His wife Susan is a guest Teacher for Monroe Local Schools and they currently reside in Monroe, Ohio where they spend some of their time taking care of their 2 cats and 4 hermit crabs.
