He began his career at Quidem Midlands, a group of commercial radio stations in the midlands, where he helped the group win numerous Arqiva and Sony radio awards. In 2012 he moved to the East Midlands and became the in house voice-over and audio specialist at British Swimming and the Institute of Swimming. James also lectured radio and sound production at Stratford – upon – Avon college as well as freelancing for TV and radio companies in the UK and USA.
James specialises in voice-overs for elearning materials and TV documentary. His voice can be described as ‘a bit BBC 2’. He also has the ability to do a proper ‘brummie’ accent after growing up in England’s second city.
