Quizmaker Screen Prev Button Issue
Jan 30, 2018
Here's what we have come across.
We have course created in Presenter with standalone knowledge check screens created in Quizmaker spread across the course.
Here's what we have come across:
After attempting a knowledge check the next button gets enabled and you move on to the next screen (let's call it Screen 2).
On the next screen (Screen 2) when you press the Prev button it takes you back to the Knowledge Check which you have just attempted. Work's fine. No issues here.
Now on the Knowledge Check screen if you press the Prev button it takes you back to Screen 2 which was the last visited screen, which is incorrect. Ideally it should have taken you back to a screen previous to the Knowledge check screen.
Tried everything that I could think of but haven't been able to fix this situation. Can anyone think of a workaround?
Thanks,
Anant

Hi Anant. Great question. The Prev (previous) button on the player jumps to the last-visited slide by default. You can use the Slide Properties window to change that behavior.
Let me know how that works out!
Hi Crystal,
I tried doing that but for quizmaker slides the slide navigation is auto controlled. So even if we set the navigation in the slide properties to move to the previous slide it would still show us the last visited slide.
Hello Anantkumar -
Would you be able to share your Articulate Package for us to take a look?
Or let us know what version of Presenter/Quizmaker you are using for us to work on re-creating.
Hi Leslie,
We are using Articulate Presenter 360. Let me know if you come across a similar situation. Interestingly we found that our older courses made in Presenter 13 didn't have this issue.
Thanks,
Anant
Hello Anantkumar,
I'm not able to reproduce this issue.
If you could share your Articulate Package, that would be helpful. If you cannot share it here in the forums, you are welcome to share it here privately.
