Just wondering if it is possible to scale the swf used as a Flash Object when it loads into the player. I can rescale it with using _level33 in a custom skin and a setinterval command, but the swf appears at full size for a split second before it rescales. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks for taking the time to make that suggestion.
I am importing as an flash object like the tutorial, however I had problems with the swf intermittently showing up at the wrong size and position depending upon the bowser/OS. To workaround that problem, I added some code to my custom skin to rescale and position the swf. This works fine… but, you can see the swf appear at the wrong size for a split second before it rescales. I think the core of my problem is that the project needs to use Slide Only View.
I am not really a Flash programmer and was hoping there might be a way to add some code the swf or skin to force rescale before it appears.

Are you importing it as a 'web object'?
It is possible to re-size these quite easily post-publish, a little fiddly but possible!

Thanks Tracey. I am loading inserting as a Flash Object. The flash content overlays other content on the slide.
You are very welcome Ron,
If you want to try to import as a web object, then have a look at the tutorial below....
