We had used the web object feature with a YouTube video which worked fine, however, our learners are not allowed to go to YouTube from their workstations. As a workaround, we are trying to embed the video on the slide. When we publish and upload the course to our server, we can see the thumbnail of the video but it doesn't play. Any thoughts on how to make this work?
Thank you. Our learners are prohibited from accessing YouTube from their workstations. I was hoping to embed the video file directly. When I do that, I see the thumbnail, but it doesn't play.
I understand Laura, but as of May 2015, Google no longer allows YouTube videos to be embedded in this manner and the web object option is the only supported method for YouTube videos.
If they are videos that your company owns, perhaps you can embed the actual video file not on the YouTube website.

Hey Laura - We recommend adding the YouTube videos as web objects to your Presenter course as this tutorial explains.
