Is the Storyline application 64bit compatible or 32bit only? I know i had to have a 32 bit install of office 2010 for articulate to work correctly, but as Storyline is a standalone, just wondering if it was upgraded to 64bit.
I ran it during the beta on a 64bit machine, and it has been working great for the last 2 weeks on a different 64 bit machine. As an aside, unless you need really large excel sheets, 64bit office isn't worth the risk of incompatibility with a lot of current other programs.
Will there ever be a 64 bit version? Our projects are large (120mb - 130mb). I keep getting the low memory error message and am not able to save them when i have plenty of physical memory available. I have 8 GB of ram and at the most only am using about 60% of it.
Are you working off a USB or network drive? That can cause problems. I routinely have projects 200-300mb and rarely have a problem saving.
I believe 2gb is the cap allowed per 32bit app. So even though you might have 8gb, if you have multiple apps open eating lots of ram you could run into problems too.
Can you tell us more about the issues you're running into saving your project file? You will want to make sure you've reviewed the elements here for known issues saving, including ensuring you're on the latest update of Storyline 2.

I think it's 32bit. But, I'm running Win7 64 and it runs fine.
Hi Dwayne,
Articulate Storyline is a 32 bit application. However, it'll run without any problems on a 64 bit machine.

Hi StacyLeagh,
I don't know if there will be future support for a 64bit version, but you're welcome to submit a feature request. As Bill mentioned, you'll also want to make sure you're working on your local drive instead of a network or USB drive.
i have same problem like u, we need 64 bit articulate soryline
32 bit articulate shoreline not use system full ram, i am not able to save file.
