Allow courses to issue asynchronous HTTP requests?
Jul 23, 2020
We use SAP SuccessFactors LMS. With their latest update, the resume function no longer works in SCORM courses. More importantly, the LMS won't consistently record completions.
SAP has issued a Bandaid fix (while they look for a real solution) that includes users changing their experimental browser setting, unrealistic in a corporate environment.
The other fix they recommend is that the content developers must update their courses to issue asynchronous http requests.
Do we have the ability to do this within Storyline360 or in Rise?
Kind regards,
Melanie

I'm hoping this reply will bump your question because i'm a couple of days away from launching a course i've worked 14 hours a day on, and it's not working properly and I'm about to ugly cry real tears.
Try this fix in the interim (there is something similar for Edge I can find for you if you need it):
I appreciate the reply. I'll see if that's something our IT department can help with. This is going to thousands of team members on Monday. Oy.
If this turns out to be your issue, I would kindly ask that you open a ticket with SAP. I think it would speed up their resolution process if other organizations put some pressure on them.

Has anyone gotten back to you on this or have you found a solution? We're experiencing the same issue.
I think the issue i was experiencing was a SuccessFactors problem or an AAdmin problem, because it started working and continues to work fine now.
We are experiencing this in multiple browsers. is there a solution yet?
Hi Patrick,
I've just tested a Rise test course in SuccessFactors and I was able to successfully resume the course. Would you mind opening a Support ticket with us so that we can look into your issue further? You can go to www.articulatecase.com to open a Support ticket. Please upload a copy of your course as well if possible.
