I want to create a slide where user hovers over different section of the screen and different hint boxes/text boxes appear to give out some information. Is it possible to do this from one screen or do I have to have them click and go to next slide
Yes, by using shapes over the different sections of the slide. You can then use the shape's built-in hover state to add your hints. If you want the hover areas to be invisible to the learner, change the shape's properties to fill = 100% transparency and no outline.

Thank you Carolyn. Where do I see the built-in hover state of the shape?
