I've had a query from a user who uses a piece of AT called "Read and write". She said she can't access our eLearning with it. I did a bit of research and found that it works by the user either selecting a block of text to read or putting the cursor where they want to begin reading.
Our published courses are on a Totara LMS. I can't put the cursor anywhere, though I have previously thought that would be useful.
This could be a problem Nick. I think the rendering of the text is SVG and cannot be selected like text in the browser usually can. I think this could be a good issue to raise with Articulate as I know they are doing a lot of work on accessibility. I've always found it little frustrating how text cannot be selected, but didn't know it would have impact on AT in this way. Interesting to know.
