JAWS won't read Storyline slide contents

I have the same issue.  A storyline Scorm 1.2 package isn't working with my LMS.  The LMS graciously offered to test it on Scorm Cloud and it failed the test.  This indicates the issue is with the Scorm package (generated through Storyline).  If you get a workaround, please let me know.

Does anyone know if using the modern player has any impact on this issue? Our course was published using the classic player. We saw this problem in both Chrome and IE11.

I took a peek into Wenquig's case, and it looks like our team was unable to recreate the issue, even when using the same system setup.

After sending in my issue to the LMS and receiving their notice that the issue was on my end as they had tested the Scorm package, I notified you. However, by yesterday morning, the same Scorm package was playing perfectly on the LMS.

We can only assume that the software elves applied some unknown magic overnight while no one was home. (Or the LMS found and fixed a bug?)

We are meeting again with our JAWS expert on Monday, to get more detailed feedback. Maybe the software elves will work for us as well! I'll reach out again, if not.

But, to make sure I understand what to look for during our JAWS testing... we should not expect JAWS to read, or navigate to, content via the arrow keys, is that correct? I know our expert typically navigates using the arrow keys to explore content with JAWS.
