Modify the width of the columns in the print results slide
Is it possible to modify the width of the columns on the PDF that is made when the learner clicks "print results?" I have used essay answers and my questions are short. The report crams the entire answer into a small space and leaves a very wide column for the question. I'd like to even them out. I tried opening the report.html file (i know enough HTML 5 to be dangerous) but it was blank. I am using Articulate 360. I've seen a lot of older posts about printing certificates, but none about this particular question. Thanks
Hi Kristin,
Thanks so much for reaching out! While we don't have the ability to modify PDF margins within built-in functionality in Storyline at this time, I'd like to point you in the right direction with workarounds and related posts!
Great to hear you have some familiarity with HTML5 coding! You can modify the Report.html File of the published output:
- Storyline and Studio: How to Create Certificates by Customizing the Report.html File ( perhaps you're seeing a blank slide because you need to insert the results files for your essay questions.)
- Here is another thread where users share some code workarounds in order to achieve modified formatting.
Feel free to share your .story file in this thread so we can take a closer look at your setup.
Hopefully, some of your fellow community members who have experience with this can chime in and assist!
Looking forward to hearing from you!

Thanks! I used this work around from Russell Killips. It was exactly what I needed.
