Articulate Community Roadshows in 2014
Dec 03, 2013
Just wanted to share that we’re looking at doing some Articulate Community Roadshows in 2014. We hope to make it a fun, practical, hands-on type extension of our online community. We’re picturing a two-day event with two tracks each day that would include a range of topics around general elearning, visual design, interactivity and of course some sessions specifically related to the Articulate tools.
Although nothing has been finalized yet, here are some tentative locations and time frames.
[ UPDATED DATES & CITIES 6/9/14 - Visit each link for details ]
We’re looking for your feedback. What topics are you most interested in? Is there anyone you would like to see present? Would you like to be a presenter yourself? Any other feedback or suggestions?
I look forward to your responses and hope to see you there!

Hi Mike, are you guys planning to come to Houston later this year or sometime next year?
Thanks! Tram
I would love to see a 2015 Roadshow scheduled somewhere in Florida
Is there a schedule out for 2015 for the Roadshows? We are working on the budget for next year and would like to know locations for 2015.
Thanks!
Hi,
I would also like to know about the locations for 2015
Hi guys - We're still working out the details for 2015. We may not have anything finalized until closer to year's end.
One thing we learned this year is that we need to announce the dates earlier to help folks plan and budget for the events. We're on it!
I'll put in my plug again for Austin.
Also would be helpful to know of other non-Articulate conferences where Articulate representation will be located. (ATD ICE, DevLearn, etc.)
Hey David - Have 2015 dates been released yet?
Anything? Anything? Bueller?
Let's see Articulate in Austin! Please!!!
Is there a particular month that is being looked at for the Toronto workshop?
Erika - we're looking at July for Toronto. We should have the dates posted soon--real soon:-)
Hi Rebekah -
We're finalizing 3 events now. I expect the dates to be posted in the next week or two. We're close. So close!
We love Austin, Owen! I don't think we have anything firm yet. I'll connect with Tom and follow up with you.
We're still resolving the dates and facilities. I should have something by the end of the week. I wanted to post all locations at once so people didn't sign up for one then realize there was going to be another one closer to home.
We'll be in Austin, in early Nov, I believe. BTW, I'll be there doing something for ATD in June, too.
Looking forward to more details as they become available!
Do you know who will be representing Articulate in Florida at the ATD International Conference and Expo?
I'll be there, not sure who else on the team is going yet.
Looking forward to seeing you there.
Just saw some roadshow dates posted at the end of Tom's blog post this morning. REALLY bummed not to see Dallas on there or any more centrally located cities. Just my 2 cents.

Hi Rebekah,
Austin is very central, and we have a great Articulate User Group here. Come on down!
Lisa
@Lisa - I'd love to, and we have an office there, so that would be ideal! Except I'm having a baby in early October. :-)
Best of luck on your event, I'm sure it will be lots of fun!
I just updated the roadshows. I am moving the Austin and Atlanta events into early 2016. I'll also work on doing something in Dallas next year.
@Tom - will the Roadshows only be dealing with Storyline 2? We have not been able to upgrade yet, and I am wondering how useful the Toronto roadshow will be without the new version?
I signed up to present at the Toronto roadshow - although I have not heard anything back so might not be presenting - anyway I was planning on doing something that would work in both SL1 and SL2.
@Erika: the sessions are intended to be practical and hands-on. There may be some sessions unique to Storyline 2 (like sliders) but most of them will work with both tools.
If you are pushing Austin to next year, you should try to come during SxSW and enjoy some music while you are here. :-)
I wanted to confirm that the Roadshow is still coming to Philadelphia in October. If it is, when will registration be open?
Thanks!
