Hi, I'm trying to create a 10x10 table (so there are 100 potential options). I'd like learners to be able to select the options that apply to each question and submit their answer. They will have 3 attempts at the question so when they try again, I'd like their correct choices to change colour and be disabled. They can then deselect the wrong answers and try again. I can change the colour with states but I just can't seem to get it to work correctly. I've tried various triggers and number variables (I have 100!) but I'm thinking there must be an easier way of doing this. I have the table set up as a freeform Pick Many question. Any suggestions greatly appreciated.
Have you set each of your selections as a button set? I think this will help you achieve what you're after. Right click and choose button set. This changes the default way the selection works.
If you can't get it to work post your story file so we can have a look at the set up.

Thanks for the quick response Chris. I haven't really explored button sets. Would all 100 be one set? I've attached the file.
Yes, you can set them all to the same set.
