Hi, I have a Rise module that I need to export as as web-only, it will be downloaded and run locally. I need a button to close the window when the user has finished the course but I can't see an option to do this, or am I missing something?
I have a similar issue you might be able to assist with.
We have to publish to web in order to house our courses in a custom made web-based program, not an LMS. We only need to record completion but are having issues doing this. We created a javascript for use in storyline and it works perfectly but wanted to use it with RISE as we feel this platform would allow us to customise content for our clients much more quickly and effectively.
Is there a way to do this? I have tried using a button, this doesn't seem to work and publishing in an LMS format (scorm or xapi) doesn't work for me either. Basically, I need a way to execute a javascript, is this possible within RISE?

Hello, Sysdoc Digital!
Rise 360 does have an exit course feature, but it functions only when the course is hosted in an LMS.
Are learners having trouble closing the window when viewing the course locally?

Hi Alyssa
Thanks for the quick reply. No the learners won't have a problem if I write instructions.
However, it seems sloppy that I have to tell them to close the window when it would be way better to say 'click this button to close the course'.
