Nonbreakable Spaces: French Requirement
A Non-breakable Space (NBSP) is used in French text when two “items” (e.g., words, numbers, punctuation and special characters) need to stay together and NOT be separated between 2 lines when content adjusts with responsive design (users access content with different sized screens).
Most applications allow for Ctrl+Shift+Spacebar to insert the NBSP, but that doesn’t work in Rise. Is there a way to insert a NBSP in Rise? Thanks.

Hello, Aaron. I also noticed that using keystrokes to add non-breaking spaces in Rise 360 text isn't working, currently. I'm tagging this conversation so I can follow up with you if we make a change that supports those spaces. I understand the need, especially for courses with French text!

Thanks for checking in, Aaron. I don't have an update at this time, but we'll keep you posted if we make changes that will help.

Hi all, I just tried the Alt+160 key combo in Rise, and that doesn’t work either :-(

This is also an issue with Storyline. Ctrl+Shift+Spacebar does not work to insert a non-breakable space. Are there any updates or workarounds on this? Thanks!
Hi Darlene! Thanks for letting us know that this doesn't work in Storyline either. I'm going to share this with our team, and we'll get back to you if we make changes that will help.

Hi, it's been for years the feature has been asking, and still nothing. But, with accessibility, it is more needed than ever because a linebreak stops the screen reader and the learner need to push the arrow key to continue the splited sentence.
It's also an issue for the translations when the sentences are splitted.
So, if you can push the resquest on top of the list, it will be super helpful for many users ;)

Hi, that would certainly be very, very helpful! Having a percentage sign or colon appear on the next line is quite annoying. Than you.
Hello Learning Canada!
I've added you to our feature request! We'll update you if this makes it on our feature roadmap.
