Take your click-and-reveal interactions to the next level with this eye-catching animated project. It uses colorful sliding blocks that open and close to reveal content.
Hi Jean-Marc. Most of the text is in layers, so make sure you have selected the layer you want to work on from the layers panel. Also, be sure unlock the objects in your timeline. I find it helpful to temporarily turn of the visibility of any objects that are overlapping what I want to work on. Hope that helps.
Hi Scott,
Thank you for you answer. I forgot to unlock the objects in your timeline. Now I can change. Thank you !

Looks great, but I can't download it?? It says "...is being used by another process or you do not have the proper security permission to access this resource." Should I be doing something else to download it?
Hmmm... the download button on this post seems to be working fine for me. I know that articulate.com has been experiencing a few hiccups recently, so it may have been a temporary issue.
Thanks for sharing, it looks amazing! I have storyline 3 and tried downloading it but a message pops up saying "this project has features that are not available in this version of storyline". I finally figured out that I needed to download the latest update for Storyline 3, which resolved the issue. Thanks again for sharing this!
Hi Scott! I love this and I am adapting it for an interactive infographic! Quick question. How do you allow users to continuously select the category titles? My version is working great, but once a category (or in my case, Phase) is selected and it runs through the animation and goes back to its initial layer, I am not able to re-select the same category. I looked at all the slide properties and everything seems to be set up correctly. Any ideas? I can send you my file, if needed. Thank you!
Thanks, Scott! I believe I fixed the issue but something I am encountering is that my phases (categories) are a HAIR misaligned with my descriptors. I built a completely revised version making sure that all of my x and y coordinates (for the phases ((i.e. categories)) and descriptors) were exactly the same on each layer so I'm not sure how/why things are off. It's driving me crazy! Yours look perfect. Is there a secret? I'm happy to share my file but I don't see a place to upload it here. Thank you!
Thanks for sharing, looks awesome! I have a question; if i want to use it, but i would like it some inches bigger because i work on a bigger canvas, is there an easy way to make the whole project a little larger? Or do i make al the layers larger manually myself?
Edit: Already fixed it, but is there also a simple way to move the whole project on the canvas to the left or right?
Sorry I didn't see this earlier Karakter. I don't think there is an easy way to shift everything on the canvas because it relys on multiple layers. You would have to move the items on each layer separately.
Hi Christy,
If I remember correctly, on some layers there is a transparent object used as a button which covers the text. I find it helpful to turn visibility off (in the timeline) for all items except the text box while I'm editing. This might help you get at the text box more easily. Let me know if this does the trick!
Hello, I have downloaded this template and manipulated the content however the third block seems to drop when I click on the fourth. I have checked the code and motion paths etc but nothing seems to be sticking out! Not sure whether this is a bug on storyline itself?! Any ideas? Thanks for sharing though! :)
Hi Rebecca, I haven't noticed anything that causes the behavior you mention. I would be willing to take a look at your file to see if I can spot the problem. Feel free to email me: scott@thefiercepixel.com
