Learning Experience Designer and interactive Storyteller
If you’re looking for ideas on how to create a course that’s tailored to your learners, then look no further! This comics-style Storyline 360 example uses a combination of interactive storytelling, branching techniques, and decision-making scenarios, where learners get to make choices and learn from the results.
I love how you approached this. I did find that one of my answers was not captured properly. Maybe the box is too big? Anyway. Great job and it makes me want to expose this style again.
Well done, Teresa. I'm a big fan of how you combine storytelling with e-learning. A good narrative is a good way to motivate and captivate the user. Thanks for sharing.
WOW! This is amazing! I love everything about it. At first I didn't think it was created in Storyline! I love how you use the variable to ask the learners name and then let them know it's only for use in the game. Love that.
That's so impressive, thank you for sharing this with all of us, only one question is there any Java included, or is it all typical features of storyline?
This was fantastic! Well done. Can you tell me what sort of training or classes you've taken? I really want to grow in my eLearning design skills but need some advice on how to take it to the next level. I've taken both an introductory class and an Advanced Storyline class, but would never be able to do what you've done here. TIA
Thank you for sharing this. It has sparked some ideas of how I could adapt this approach to create some interactive learning opportunities for staff learning about fire prevention.
Can you tell me what design size you used for this project? I like the comic strip aesthetic, and aligning with the speed of the learner. (allowing them to click the arrows, to continue.) I just wasn't sure what the actual design size was. I also like the RISE micro-learning style it had for slide changes! Very innovative!
Thanks for sharing - it is great work. I really like the graphic novel style, I think it is very effective and your interactive approach is brilliant. I hope to do something similar. And the post course goodie, icing on the cake!! People like a tangible take away, save note taking and missing information. :) :) :)
