Wrong size player when launched in new window

Hi all,

this is driving me around the bend.

I am doing a concept for performance support, and I want the player to open in a new window on the right side of the screen covering appr 1/3 of it. The electronic patient journal system covers the rest of the screen. In the player you see procedure list -> procedure -> and the a "navigation sheet" showing the what must be done in the EPJ illustrated with icons/screenshot or a screen recordings.

The new player window is launched from our LMS so I have made a launch page and have the following settings:

The Story size is set to 600 x 1500 + player, and this is the windows size I want the launched browser window appear in. But this is not happening. Is there a trick/hack to get this working?
