Javascript random number

Hi All,

I've read threads about using random number JS code in AS2, and it works fine (for rolling dice, choosing random topic etc.). 

But now, I'd like to use random numbers preventing the occurrence of the previous number but not the whole range (e.g.: have numbers 1-6. 1-23-2-1-3 if is fine, but 1-2-2-3 is not). 

Do you have any ideas that fit to AS2? I've tried JS codes, but as I'm not a programmer, they aren't work for me.
