Print Slide/ Print Results

Hello,
I am trying to find an easy work-around to offering participants a way to print a certificate or proof of completion at the end of a quiz and I'm wondering if there is a way to do this through the 'print results' trigger (or any other options out there).
I edited the results page and asked for it to be published onto my organization's LMS but it's not working. When I investigate other forum conversations, the solutions offered require coding, output file changes and specific instructions when publishing to the LMS (aka. some serious effort towards tricking Storyline into printing)...
Is there really no easy way for Storyline to print a slide or certificate?

Hi Mariana! Have you tried the standard print results option that is built into Storyline?
Or are you asking these questions because you've had a problem with it?
I have used the "Allow user to print results" and "Prompt the user for their name before printing", but is there a way to include additional information on the printed results?
Being able to include the name of the completed course would be helpful on the printed results......
Hi Janet! There is not a standard/built in way to do this, but if you would like to check out this thread where other users figured this out it may be of assistance to you.
Leslie,
When I "..tried the standard print results option that is built into Storyline?" nothing happens. The print dialog box for my printers do not pop up and nothing is sent to my default printer. Have checked the trigger and it looks right.
Please advise,
Kevin
Hi Kevin and welcome to Heroes!
The print results will not actually connect with your default printer, but it'll open a new HTML page which the user will then need to print or save a copy of. Also, you'll want to test this within the published output to confirm everything works as expected and that the page it not blocked from opening by your browser or any security restrictions.
Hope that helps!
