This download contains 132 hand-drawn objects that are white. They can be used with the chalkboard backgrounds. These downloads were made available in this Rapid E-Learning Blog post on using SimpleDiagrams to create elearning graphics.
These are such fun to use, but selecting or previewing the pictures after downloading them is difficult , because in most cases, your PC's window colour is white, making these white pictures "invisible". A simple workaround was to change my window colour via Desktop Properties to a gray in order to see them.
Hi Anne - Thanks for sharing your workaround using the Desktop Properties.
I updated the download to include a PowerPoint file with the icons placed over dark gray slides. That should make previewing easier for folks who don't wish to change their window colors.
thanks for the reminder! I was thinking about that when I downloaded them & then never did it - also helps to see if something has a transparent background, which is nice too :)
Anyone have thoughts on other workarounds? When I changed my window color to gray, I still saw white bounding boxes in the thumbnails instead of the actual shapes.
I really like the arrows in this file. Is there any way Articulate can provide them in black? I know how to manipulate he color after you double click on the image through Corrections and Color under PP's 2010 Format tab, but I can't get it to just be black. Would be nice to have when you're working on white backgrounds. : )
I found a way to change the white to black on these graphics, - change the Brightness setting under Format --> Corrections to -100% (notice the negative sign) - pays to play around with the settings!
Awesome Tom. I used these popping up all over a blackboard to convey a sense of confusion, then used a cool Kuhlmann laptop design to display my solution to the chaos. So thank you sir! Now I am going to have to start contributing some resources if I get good enough!
Cheers
