HI there, I downloaded the font file but what I get is a True Type file that is basically a sample of the font. Is there a way that I can download the file and use the font in Power Point / Articulate just by typing? Should there be an exec. file for me to install the font? Thanks,
Karen
Hello. I installed several of Tom's fonts, and I followed Microsoft's instructions for embedding the fonts in my PPT file (under the Save menu).
But I got an error: "Some of your fonts cannot be saved with the presentation. Reason: License Restriction."
Can you help me resolve this? Thanks.

Hi Kathy! Yeah, unfortunately some font-creation tools that are used to produce handwritten fonts will also embed a restricted license within the font file, which makes it impossible to save the font within a presentation. However, you can freely share/copy/install the font file itself, if you need to share your work with a colleague or open it on a different computer. (Also, just to clarify, if you publish your PowerPoint content with Articulate Presenter, it ends up as Flash content, so anyone viewing your published output won't need the font installed in order to see it properly.)
