Here's the Articulate Storyline 2 demo featured in this Rapid E-Learning Blog post. The template uses variables to track completion and shouldn't have to be modified. However, feel free to make any modifications you like.
@Erika: you'd have to rebuild it in Storyline 1. I'm putting together a series of tutorials on how to create the variables. I'll build it in Storyline 1 and include the template. But that will take a few days to get to.
Excellent way of addressing multiple sections in one module or course. I tried adding a seventh module but can't seem to get the completed word to show. Any suggestions?
Thank you
@Erika: Storyline 2 doesn't save backwards.
@Mark: the complete state change is triggered by a variable. So you need to make sure you have a variable, then you need a trigger to change the variable, and then a trigger to change the state of the button.
Thanks Tom.
I'm still a little weak with variables but I seem to have it working now. Do you know of any advanced workshops coming up either in the Toronto area or online?

Hey Tom- I really like this downlaod. I had planned to use it as a template to quickly create several mini-modules. I created the first one with no problem. Then I created a second one again with no problem. Then I decided to combine them into one project. Then when I played the project the second mini-module had all the tabs already marked as completed when I initially went into it after completing the first one. I went back to change the names of the objects to Mod1a for example and Mod1aCompleted in the the slide master thinking that it was getting confused because the naming conventions were the same. Still no luck so I exported the second module back out of the combined project as a new project to compare with the original 2nd mini-moudle. It still has the completed states and... Expand

@Craig: just saw your response: without seeing what you did it's hard to diagnose. Create a question in the forum and share what you did, then the community can check it out.
Also, how do I reduce the size of the rectangle my "Submit name" capture comes up in front of? It's covering most of the location of where they would input their name. Thanks for the support!
Thank you for making these templates available. I'm learning to use Storyline and the tutorials have been great. These templates have not only helped me get a better understanding of what's possible to create but have allowed me to quickly turn a project around in a short period of time while learning.
Thanks again for all the great ideas and resources!
I love this template. Thank you for creating. I am having difficulty figuring out how to remove the gray background that appears only when I hit play - and it says Teal Scenario in top left hand corner. Help...I am new to Storyline so I apologize if this is a silly question.
Thanks for sharing! Where do you purchase additional characters? I see some of the ones in this demo are not part of the default characters in Storyline 2. Thanks!
Hi Tom! Thank you for this template. It works really very well. Nevertheless I have a small problem...I reduced the size of the module buttons for more space, but I can not change the place of the word "completed". I'm happy about an idea! Thanks!
