5 Gate Slides

Description:

Here's a starter template with the 5 gate screens featured in this Rapid E-Learning Blog post. Feel free to use them as you wish.

You can see the gates used in this demo. In PowerPoint, you'll have to create a lightbox type slide that you link to and from there add the gate objects. All you need to do is copy and paste it onto the slide. Then be sure to set your hyperlinks to the appropriate slides.

Can you explain what you mean by "create a lightbox type slide"?   I'm new to this and I'm not sure what that means.

@Kelly: usually a light box slide is one where the rest of the slide is dim and only the feedback box shows. You don't need to create one for these gate screens, but they do like nice when used.

1. Duplicate the slide that you link from.

2. Add a black shape over the duplicate slide.

3. Set the shape to partially transparent so the slide peeks through.

4. Add the gate box over the transparent shape.

5. Add a link from the first slide to the duplicate light box slide.
