Kudos to the designers for this masterful example. The interactivity truly serves the learning. I'm especially curious about the "staircase" interaction. Can you share the code?
For those looking for a look at the code in this example - here's a video tutorial which shows how they did coded the 'staircase' interactivity by simply triggering the relative start point for the up/down motion paths: http://www1.articulate.com/Storyline-2-Motion-Paths.html
Deceptively simple...and effective!
I love the slider and animated "raising bars" effect from the "why wellness matters" slide shown above. I want to learn how to make a similar effect, and have tried to add a rectangle , applied a wipe animation, and then tried using a slider to control the wipe animation - but it didn't work. :( Any hints into how to re-produce this type of effect?
Much thanks in advance!
I think I just answered my question . I found a Articulate tutorial that demonstrates how to use slider with motion paths https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HiAf7jNL-dY
I echo your love for the "why wellness matters" slider. I was able to recreate it quite effectively by simply creating different states of the rectangles (shorter and longer states). I then applied triggers for each state along the slider. There might be a much easier way to do it (I'm quite new to SL), but this seemed to work.
Absolutely gorgeous. One of my all-time favorites visually, and it was a lot of fun to navigate. And I appreciated everything I learned. A stellar job all around.
