Saving Custom Buttons
Oct 31, 2012
In Storyline, is it possible to create a custom button and save it within the program as a reusable button "theme"? Like, is there a type of "object library" where your custom buttons/shapes/objects can live and you can insert them whenever?
My current solution is to have a slide master that's just a button bank where I put all the custom buttons I created. I copy and paste them from there into the slides. Just curious if there is a different (easier?) way of handling this within Storyline.

Ten,
I was just going to ask the same question. I have some custom characters with different states that I want to save. Your idea of the slide master is a good one.
But I'm curious if there is a feature of Storyline that does this. It would be a lot easier.

Hi, there is no feature like that but one thing that you can do is place all those objects in a scene that you don't connect to the story. You can then use the import storyline function to pull those slides into each new project you start.
Hi Ten and Maureen! Looks like Nancy is helping you out here.
Thanks Nancy
