Human Performance Technology Workshop 2011 (Free Conference)

Jun 09, 2011

Howdy all! If you're in the area or can plan to be, we put on a free workshop every September in beautiful Williamsburg, VA. This event draws several hundred folks a year to present or partake in workshop presentations related to Human Performance Technology.  We drink the HPT kool-aid and we really like to share and learn from others practicing HPT in any industry. If you share this love, or are merely curious, and can make it we'd love to see you there.

Did I mention that it's free? See the site linked below for details and registration.

Announcing the 2011 USCG Human Performance Technology Workshop Williamsburg Marriott at Kingsmill September 14-16, 2011

This year’s Workshop Theme is “Performance Improvement: It’s What We Do!”

U.S. Coast Guard FORCECOM’s Performance Technology Center is hosting the 11th Annual Human Performance Technology (HPT) Workshop. We welcome all interested members from the government, military, industry and academia to attend and/or to present a session. As you work to improve performance in your work group you focus on accomplishments of value to the organization. Come share your work and attend presentations by many other HPT professionals, including leaders in the HPT field.

This year’s Keynote Speaker is Dr. Marc Rosenberg, an independent New Jersey based management consultant, writer, speaker, educator (Boise State) and leader in the world of training, e-learning, knowledge management and performance improvement. Dr. Rosenberg’s bio is posted on our website.

The Coast Guard’s HPT Workshop invites professional presentations that address issues and solutions that have a human performance focus. Consider submitting an abstract to conduct a session where you share your successes and processes.

Both registration and abstract submission are now open on our website:
www.uscghpt.org

We look forward to seeing you at the Workshop where we will share and learn more about--Performance Improvement: It’s What We Do!
