Why are my slide levels

Hi-
I have my slide levels set as follows:
Slide 1 - Level 1
Slide 2 - Level 1 (Hidden)
Slide 3 - Level 2
Slide 4 - Level 2 (Hidden)
Slide 5 - Level 1
Which I expect to display as follows in my ToC:
Slide 1
- Slide 3
Slide 5
However, Slide 3 is not appearing in my ToC. Instead, I just see:
Slide 1
Slide 5
I have been using this level format for many presentations and it has worked. Now in this particular one it is not working. Is this a glitch or am I missing something obvious (which is quite possible)

based on what you have, my guess is that since slide 2 is hidden and slide 3 is a sublevel, then slide 3 might get hidden by default. Did you try change slide 3 to a level 1?
I think if you make Slide 2 Level 2 it will work. Just tried it and set:
Slide 1 = Level 1
Slide 2 = Level 2 (hidden)
Slide 3 = Level 2
Slide 3 shows up the way you want it.
Seems to occur when a hidden slide is followed by a slide of a greater (deeper) level.
