Drag and Drop help please

Hi
Ok this is driving me mad...
I have a drag and drop that works exactly as it is required too - a number of draggable objects vanish when they hit the correct target and her returned for re-selection if incorrect.
One of the items has two objects grouped together which "split" when first dragged.
Everything works as it should, except...
What I want to be able to do is to play a BUZZ sound if the learner drops the draggable object onto the wrong target which then get's returned to the pile, at the same time, I want a RED CROSS to appear at the top of the screen.
Likewise if they get it right, a PING noise is heard and a GREEN TICK is displayed.
For the life of me, I just cannot get my head around achieving this.
Attached is the Storyline file that has the drag and drop slide, if anyone can set this up for me I will be forever in their debt! lolĀ

add the sounds to a layer and show the layer when object dropped on the correct/incorrect, set the layer to hide on timeline end and ensure that the timeline is bragged back to the end of the sound

I though a layer would be the way to go.
So I would have two layers? One for CORRECT with a PING sfx and a TICK; the other layer would be INCORRECT with a BUZZ sfx and a CROSS.
That's OK - but how do I get the layers to display - where do I set the triggers as I already have many set up when the objects vanish, etc.
When I tried something similar before, the layer appeared to override the trigger and the object stuck to the incorrect object rather than being returned for re-selection.

Yes two layers
Add drop correct and drop incorrect states to each dragged object, add trigger to show layer when state changes, you need to uncheck the delay state changes in the form for the D&D interaction.
You would have two triggers for the state changes for each object.

yes but you should just be able to format paint the states from coke to all the others
